Dear Jake,

Please accept my condolences on the death of your mother Josie. Her sudden death because of heart attack was indeed heart breaking knowing that she died on your hands. I wish I could do something to lessen your sorrow.

But I know that there are no words that can lessen the pain you feel right now. This letter is just to let you know and to remind you that you will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

Please be strong, and if there is anything that I can do to help your family in this kind of situation just let me know.
